New York: Farrar & Rinehart, (1944). First Revised Edition. First printing Fine in reddish cloth covered boards with a gilt on black title block on the spine. A small octavo of 8 by 5 1/4 inches with the slightest of rubbing to the cloth at the head and heel of the spine and the lower edges of the boards. In a very good+, unclipped dust jacket with 1/4" deep chips from the lower edge of the spine area which wraps around the fold to the front panel by 1/3" and with small nicks to the fore corners of the front panel over the tips of the boards. This is the revised edition of the second volume in The Rives of America Series. 305 pages including an index and bibliography. Illustrated with woodblock plates by David and Lolita Granahan. A nice bright copy with no prior ownership markings.
