After 1751. 5 x 9 inches, in good condition. Philip Yorke (1690-1764), 1st Earl of Hardwicke, Lord Chancellor (1737), who presided at the trials of the Jacobite lords in 1745, and promoted the laws which proscribed the wearing of tartan and abolished heritable jurisdiction in Scotland.
