Washington (DC): US Coast Survey, 1866. Near fine, b&w, thin paper, with folds as issued, from the 1864 Report of the Superintendent of the Coast Survey, published in 1866. Bache was a grandson of Benjamin Franklin. The image measures 42 x 32 cm (16.5 x 12. 5 inches), with many depth soundings, and tabular summaries of soundings and tides. Topography by W. M. Boyce, H.L. Whiting, and A.M. Hanson; Hydrography by H. Mitchell. This is not commonly seen. "12" in print on verso of chart. Scale 1:20,000.. Near Fine. Map.

Shipping charges are billed at cost, and will be added to the invoice. We usually include insurance with the postage, and as a result we do not routinely use media mail.
