Reprinted From A Tract of 1594 In The Plymouth Museum, Devon. Green marbled paper covers with printed label affixed to cover reading: 'The Use of the Globe: The first Voyage of Sir Francis Drake unto the West and East Indies both Outward and Homeward.' Green linen spine. Signed presentation copy from the printer: 'With Best wishes. W.O Reynolds. Illustrated frontis and title page, some colour capital letters in green, blue and red. The colophon at rear reads: 'One hundred and twenty copies have been set and printed by W. O. Reynolds at the Peacock Press, Plymstock, Devon, and completed on the first day of November, 1942. The text has been taken from a Mercator tract, printed by John Windet in 1594, being the first published account of Sir Francis Drake's voyage around the world. This is number 111 of only 120 copies printed. Very good clean copy..
