Rawnsley (29 September 1851 28 May 1920), was an English clergyman, poet, writer of hymns and conservationist, known as one of the co-founders of the National Trust. Tennyson, the central focus of this work, was a family friend of Rawnsley'sand the two weremembers of Lake District Defence Society, along with Robert Browning, the Duke of Westminster and JohnRuskin. First edition. Condition: In a paper covered binding. Externally, generally smart with next to no shelfwear, the only visible flaw being some marks and discolouration to the white paper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Overall: VERY GOOD..
