Staining and rubbing to extremeties of boards, with fraying and soiled spine. Slightly bent edges. Foxing throughout, but still in very good condition. Collects nine short pieces of fiction, The title story is a long tale of psychic vampirism. Catherine Amy Dawson Scott (1864-1934) was an English writer, poet, and spiritualist who founded The Survival League in 1929, an organization dedicated to uniting all religions for the study of psychic research. Scott's book is listed in the Bibliography of Montague Summer's The Vampire, His Kith and Kin. Scarce, like most of Dawson Scott's works.
