Wilson, featuring photo illustrations of Walpole’s Derwentwater cottage and the surrounding countryside (minor edgewear, creasing, sunning, faint tidemark to upper fore-edge), G-/G- copy. First edition, stated, of this fourth title in the Herries Saga, which served as the basis for the 1935 MGM film of the same name, directed by William Howard, produced by David O. Selznick, starring Robert Montgomery, Helen Hayes, May Robson, Otto Kruger, and others.
