About This Item

Theodore Presser Co, Philadelphia, 1919. First Edition. Softcover. Fair Condition. Illustrator: Illustrated. The text is illustrated with black-and-white illustrations and photographs which have been pasted in by a child. Illustrated folder with brown coloured titles to the front panel. In this series of booklets, unbound as per issue, a child pasted the relevant pictures about a particular musician in the pages supplied. The the musician studied in this booklet is Giuseppe Verdi. The how to use this book instructions, are placed neatly in the rear of the booklet. The book is showing age and use. Creasing of the booklet edges and there are a few small tears to the top edge of the front panel. Stains, rubs and other marks present with some sunning also noticeable. Browning to the text block edges and of the pages. As you would expect given that the pictures were pasted in, (very neatly) there is some buckling of the page. Previous owner has penned the date born and date died of the author neatly under the illustration of Verdi to the verso of the front panel some staining to the top right-hand corner of the title page. Some of the pages have torn a little at the extreme edges. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 14, [2] pages.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Illustrated. Quantity Available: 1.
