Patterned endpapers, unpaginated with colour illustrations throughout. In original unclipped dust jacket priced at Ł1.10 net. The boards have been well protected by the dust jacket and are clean and bright with just a hint of pushing to the corners and foot of the spine. Internally the book appears clean and bright and without name, inscription or bookplate. All pages are undamaged. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a clear removable cover (not shown), has some marks from an old tape repair to a 2cm closed tear along the bottom edge (the tape is no longer present). It has a hint of toning and there is rubbing with some loss of surface paper to the head of the spine and corners and minor loss of 1-3mm at the spine tips. There is also some creasing along the very top edge with a couple of very small 1-2mm closed tears. All in all a very good looking copy of this classic children's book in an extremely scarce jacket.
