Signed by Moira Lister with a personal message to John and Mary Mills "To darling Johnny & Mary with fondest love & great admiration Moira" First Edition, second impression. 8¾" x 5½" 189 pages. Title reads "The Very Merry Widow" but with the word Widow crossed out and replaced with Moira. Navy cloth covered boards with gilt ML motif on the front cover and gilt titles to the spine. Lilac pastedowns and endpapers. Red dustjacket inset with photographs of Moira Lister. Book condition near fine, page edge slightly brown, else fine. Dustjacket condition very good, no tears, spine ever so slightly faded, else fine, not price clipped. With black and white photograph frontispiece of Moira Lister and many further photos throughout.
