The Vicomte de Bragelonne was written in collaboration with Auguste Maquet (1813-1888), who famously worked with Alexander Dumas (1802-1870) on the Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers. This is the third book in the Three Musketeers trilogy, which was published in serial form between 1847-1850.
