Victory for Jill by Amelia Elizabeth Walden - Hardcover - from Gail's Books and Biblio.com

Victory for Jill

by Walden, Amelia Elizabeth

Condition: See description

William Morrow, 1957, 2nd printing. Ex-library hardback w/o dust jacket, pictorial library binding, 246 pages, few dog-eared pages, good condition. The very sight of the New Sharon hockey field made Jill homesick for Westmorland. There was nothing really right about it. The second-string football team sometimes used it for practice and the turf was bad, full of cleat holes from the boys' football shoes. When you got anywhere near the goal, you had to squint your eyes and close your mouth and duck your head because of great clouds of dust. Juvenile fiction ISBN: NOISBN.
