Text is clean and free of marks, binding tight and solid, boards clean with no wear present. This is not a book that you can sit down and read as a page turner, if you have first-hand experience in the war in Vietnam in any stage of it. It is an encyclopedia of the men and battles and locations that bring memories flooding back, just by naming the places and telling how they came to be. For the non-Vietnam combatant, it is a GREAT history book, done in a manner that is personal, in that it tells history through the lives and actions of everyday heroes and outstanding, highly decorated individuals.
