London: George Whitelaw & Charles Evans; J.H. Woodley; The Armory Ticket Office; 1851,1857 & 1867. First editions of three titles which have been bound into one volume. Hardcover book. A total of 184 pages. Half red leather binding over marbled boards, with gilt titles to spine. 19 x 13cm. A View of Old London, as it Appeared in 1560.. has no author credited, and was published in 1851. 44pp, with folding engraved panoramic view of London in 1560 as frontispiece, plus 17 engravings in text (3 of them whole page). The second book is London Before the Fire of 1666, with an Historical Account of the Parish, the Ward and the Church of St. Giles without Cripplegate, by William Miller, published in 1867. 92pp. With folding engraved illustration as frontispiece. The third book is Sketches of the Tower of London, as a Fortress, a Prison and a Palace, and a Guide to the Armories. No author credited. 48pp. With folding engraved plan of the Tower as frontispiece, and engraving on title page. A Good copy overall. Covers are very good, with light wear to edges. The contents are well bound. Heavy browning to endpapers, most pages clean though the third book has some browning with the title page and frontis heavily browned and with some tears to edges. The frontispiece folding illustration of the first book has large tears though no losses. Pictures available.
