This is a unique item of no pre-determined value and is offered as an interesting specimen of field work which may be of use in other anthropological studies. Study began in 1967 under the guidance of Dr. George W. Goethals, and was focused on private property ownership in transitional nomadic to sedentary-agricultural societies, and was conducted in association with the Harvard Research Project in North Africa under the general supervision of Dr. John L. Simmons, field director. Quarto, 11 1/2" tall, 124 pages, stiff self-binding covers, illustrated with hand drawn maps and many tipped in photographs on photocopied--type written pages, double spaced, single sided. A clean copy with slight yellowing to the paper. Note: This work was purchased with a book lot at auction is offered as is. The original self binder was torn and soiled and was replaced by another similar type.
