Study began in 1967 under the guidance of Dr. George W. Goethals, and was focused on private property ownership in transitional nomadic to sedentary-agricultural societies, and was conducted in association with the Harvard Research Project in North Africa under the general supervision of Dr. John L. Simmons, field director. Quarto, 11 1/2" tall, 124 pages, stiff self-binding covers, illustrated with hand drawn maps and many tipped in photographs on photocopied--type written pages, double spaced, single sided. A clean copy with slight yellowing to the paper. Note: This work was purchased with a book lot at auction is offered as is. The original self binder was torn and soiled and was replaced by another similar type.
