This 1914 map of now popular wine country Napa County, California shows the county in 1914, with early roads, largely undeveloped, vast open land areas, and natural features. The numbered grid system on this map reflects the Public Land Survey System. Large open tracts of land are identified as ranches, such as Rancho Catacoula, or Rancho Las Putas, Rancho LaJota all of which are large swaths of undivided land. Urban grids are shown in the southernmost part of Napa County, and sections of the southernmost sections of Sonoma County and Solano County. The cities of Petaluma, Sonoma, Vallejo and Napa and Benicia show populated urban areas. A corner of Marin County is shown.

OCLC shows one holding of this broadside. (Ibero-Ameri. Inst.) Anti-Maduro, pro-Felix Díaz tract. Illustrated with a portrait of General Felix Díaz. Lists Arroyo's address: Imprenta 2a. de la Penitenciaría Número 29. Felix was the nephew of Porfirio Díaz. When Porfirio Díaz was forced into exile by revolutionary forces in May 1911, most of his family went with him. Félix stayed in Mexico. In October 1912, he rose in an unsuccessful revolt against Madero, but was jailed and sentenced to death for treason. Madero commuted the sentence and he escaped from prison during La Decena Trágica ("Ten Tragic Days"), the coup against Madero led by General Victoriano Huerta in February 1913. Rochester, New York, nd. (ca.1900): Vredenburg & Co. Oblong Quarto. 100 leaves, all illustrations (138 images). This work which is the largest early photographic editon of Graham County and includes photographs of smelters, factories, copper mining, drug stores, railroad stations, landscapes, libraries, small businesses as well as school buildings. While more than half are devoted to mining, it has many pictures of locations in Graham County which have appeared nowhere else. Two smaller editions were done by newspaper publishes with 30 to 50 pages with mostly text. Here the printing was done by the Electric City Engraving Company of Buffalo which had pioneered Illustrated with half tones by Simon Werner. As is the case with the earliest Arizona Territorial Books, the printing processes for better illustrations were either done in San Francisco or in New York.
