Spots of wear-through to upper spine corners. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Clean decorated endpapers, with front flap (with 2.50 price intact) glued to front pastedown. Pages and edges are clean, with blue top-stained upper page edges. Rear pastedown has scrape where bookplate or sleeve was removed. 325 pages. A lusty tale of love an roguery. Thieves, gamblers, highwaymen, swindlers, debauchees--jolly rascals of every description populate this delightful book with their schemes, trials, triumphs and punishments as they live in the spacious days of old London. .
