About This Item

London: Macmillan, 1993. First Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo. This is a Near Fine Copy of this Book in black cloth boards with gilt title lettering to spine in a Near Fine dust-jacket that has no chips or tears to the outer edges of the dust-jacket.The book has just a little light spotting along the page edges and also a little to the dedication page. This rather unique item has been flat signed by Danielle Thomas on the title page and also by her husband and fellow Author Wilbur Smith on the dedication page.Incidentally she dedicated the book to Wilbur Smith and her son Dieter. Not price clipped with (£14.99) showing to the front inner flap. This copy has a firm binding with no hinge weakness and there are no loose leaves.Contents of the book have some light spotting to the page edges and there is some age spotting/browning on the dust-jacket underside. There are no turned corners to the leaves etc.A rather Scarce book with both signatures present.Sadly Danielle Thomas died in 1999 of Brain Cancer.Certainly one for the collector 8vo 326pp First UK Edition 1st Impression [1993]
