Translated from Original Manuscripts in the Bodleian Library and the British Museum. With Historical Illustrations and an Introduction by Gideon D. Scull. Boston: Prince Society, 1885. 1st ed. vii,385pp. A very good untrimmed copy in later cloth, with a leather spine label. Howes R-6, "aa." Limited to 250 copies. First printing of these famous journals. Radisson and Groseilliers were the first Europeans to see the upper reaches of the Mississippi. They probably got to the Missouri.
