Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1901. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1901. No Edition Remarks. 396 pages. No dust jacket. Half bound black leather with purple cloth. contains a colour illustrated frontis and black and white illustrations throughout. Minor tanning to pages with heavier tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pen inscriptions to front endpaper and slight dog-eared pages throughout. Rear endpaper is also heavily creased. Boards have light rubbing and major bumping to corners. Distinctive crushing to spine ends and splitting to both joints with exposed binding. Heavy sunning to boards as well.
