Tissue-guarded frontispiece - photogravure of Bentley. Colour fold-out map of Congo at rear. A biography of the christian missionary Bentley who was stationed in Central Africa in the late 19th century. New spine with original spine cloth laid on. Original boards. New eps. Very clean throughout text. Top edge gilt. Green boards faded to brownish green. Gilt lettering on front board and spine. Edges of boards and corners rubbed in places. Overall condition VG-.
