Octavo (22cm.); original cloth in photo-illustrated dust jacket; viii,451pp.; photographic portrait frontispiece, 11 leaves of plates, including photographs. Jacket extremities quite rubbed and worn with old yellowed tape repair to spine ends, offsetting on two pages mid-textblock from previously removed newspaper clipping, a few plates slightly dampstained at foreedges, else Very Good in Good or better jacket. Youthful biography of the muralist Ione Robinson who began her career as an assistant to Rockwell Kent and as protégé of Diego de Rivera. Robinson would later achieve fame through her drawings from the Spanish Civil War, many of which are reproduced here.
