About This Item

New York: Harper's Weekly, 1866. Very good overall. A full page wood engraving of a street scene in New York on Wall Street during the Civil War Reconstruction period. From the front page of Harper's Weekly, a long running American newspaper well-known for its wood-cut illustrations. Later hand color, approximately 11 x 15 1/2", very clean.
