Walpole, NH: published by the author, 2016. PB. fine, wraps (softcover). B&W illustrations. Louisa May Alcott live in Walpole, New Hampshire, with her family from 1855 to 1857. Many of the stories told in LITTLE WOMEN are drawn from her life in Walpole with her sisters. In this well illustrated booklet I have brought together all that is known of her stay and theatrics here. The local theater group performed but two doors from my home. The home the Alcott's lived in, and visited, are all still in existence and illustrated. 40pp.

Description:
Haddonfield, NJ: Linwood Press, 1984. HC. very good, green cloth (hardcover) no dustjacket as published. B&W illustrations. ISBN 0915337002 Written and published for the 100th anniversary of the establishment of this fine church camp meeting ground on the shore of Lake Erie in Vermilion, Ohio. I was first introduced to Linwood in 1964, and the peaceful Victorian feel has remained with me for over 40 years - the same impact Linwood has on most visitors. I came up with this title because of the feel I received going "though these gates" and my fascination with the summer resort experience, the development of the summer vacation, and the summer experience at the grand hotels all stem from my times at Linwood. For the past 20 years I have continued to aggresively collect postcards and souvenirs of Linwood Park and have over 200 examples not shown in this First Edition. I am in the process of completing THROUGH THESE GATES: LINWOOD PARK - REVISITED THROUGH POSTCARDS. 206pp.
