This vintage Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 comes complete with its original binding including its original illustrated spine featuring Pluto. The front board has the title Entertaining. This vintage Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 was published by Dean in London. The Title Page reads Produced with the Permission of Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd. Mickey Mouse is the creation of Walt Disney and Ub lwerks, and this Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 was issued just 7 years after the first appearance of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in the animation short film Steamboat Willie, which was also the first synchronised sound cartoon. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 front board features a colour illustration of Mickey Mouse serenading Minnie Mouse with a guitar. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 back board also features the same colour illustration as the front board. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 front board and back board are in Good condition with edge wear, corner knocks and rubbing. The original pictorial spine for this Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 is still present which features the tile in red and an illustration of Pluto looking dejected as Mickey Mouse romances Minnie Mouse. The spine has wear and rubbing which is particularly noticeable to the base of the spine. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 has thick pages that contain numerous early Disney characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, and Pluto. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 contains numerous vintage Walt Disney Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse cartoon strips, vintage Walt Disney games such as The Duck Shoot, and vintage Walt Disney puzzles and games. The Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 pages are in overall Very Good condition with more significant foxing to the preliminary pages (ie blank front endpapers and Title Page), and to a lesser extent to the other pages; foxing to the edges of the pages; small pencil writing to the bottom of the Title Page; to the last page there is scribbling in pencil; small corner loss to the front free endpaper; no frontispiece (does not appear to have been removed, but may have been present when published); and with all the other thick pages being extremely clean and attractive condition. This rare Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 1935 is a very collectable vintage Walt Disney Mickey Mouse comic book that will make a wonderful addition to a collection of vintage Walt Disney Mickey Mouse comic books, a collection of vintage Walt Disney memorabilia, or any collection of vintage childrens illustrated books.
