About This Item

London: James B Knapp Yellow ochre covers with red and black decoration to front and back, flower motif on spine with gilt lettering. Presumably first edition (not dated with no publishing details) with frontispiece and four other further full-page b/w illustrations and pictorial head of each chapter. Primitive Methodist Sunday Scool presentation sticker, dated 1909, on pastedown. Further sticker removed from rear pastedown. Minor foxing, spine dulled, covers a little grubby with the odd small mark and minor wear to corners and modest bumping to head and foot of spine. But still a tight, attractive copy. Ref:07923.
