Runyan was a consumate professional who in the heyday of his photographic work from 1910 to 1926 experimented with the most up-to-date lenses, cameras, and film in order to create the best possible images of his subject. After a brief biography, Runyan's photographs of people and places in the Rio Grande area of Texas and Mexico are presented in full pages with text. 12 in. X 9 1/2 in. 135 pages, bibliography, index. Presentation copy made to individual listed on first free end page. Quarter bound in leather. The boards are bound in cloth with a matching slipcase. No dust jacket as issued. Slight fading to the cloth on the slipcase. Slipcase and book are in Fine condition. ; 12 in. x 9 1/2 in. .
