There is a small newspaper clipping pasted onto the front pastedown discussing a statue that will be dedicated to Ellen Hardin Walsworth, one of the founders of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her husband, the author, was severely abusive and was ultimately shot and killed by their son, Frank, after years of domestic violence and harassment. Wright II, 2626.
