Plain cloth-backed boards in a lithographic wrapper by Kandinsky, which is where the principal value of the book lies. There is a striking colour image on the front panel and a black-and-white on the rear. Additional essays by Jean Arp, Charles Estienne, Carola Giedon-Welcker, Will Grohmann, Ludwig Grote, Nina Kandinsky and Alberto Magnelli. Translations of the texts are provided at the rear in German, English and Spanish. Superficial damp has affected the cloth spine but nowhere else. Very good in very good indeed dustwrapper just a little creased at the spine and with faint off-setting from the original tissue overlay which is lettered in black "Kandinsky" on the upper panel. The lower portion of the tissue wrapper is largely defective whereas the upper is fully intact. Preserved in a very good custom-made cloth slipcase
