Water, Ice & Stone: Science and Memory on the Antarctic Lakes

by Green, Bill

Condition: Near Fine/Very Good

Harmony Books. New York. 1995. First Edition stated; First Printing ("1" in number line on copyright page). 283 pages plus 4 pages of tables/charts at end. The blue covers and black spine are in very good plus condition. The only issues are a tiny tear in the cloth at the top of the spine and faint scuffing near the bottom. The title and author are in silver color on the spine. The binding is solid. The dust jacket is in very good condition; there is some fraying along the top edge and small creasing at the bottom of the spine. The dust jacket is bright and attractive. The interior of the book is in near fine condition. It is clean and bright with no writing or makings detected. The book appears to be unread. This is a very nice copy of the book that was awarded the John Burroughs Medal for Nature Writing in 1996.

Includes index.
