Inscribed on the limitation page: "For Friend Bob, for many pleasant / memories shared together without / firing a single shot! / [signed] Dave Hagerbaumer". Above the inscription Mr. Hagerbaumer has drawn a goose in flight. Laid-in is a four-page holograph letter from David Hagerbaumer addressed to Bob Wethern in which the author discusses his books, up-coming publications, and encourages Bob to complete a book on fly-fishing. For those who may not have known about the late Bob Wethern, he was a distinguished man of letters and one of the founding members of the Flyfishers Club of Oregon.
