Pages near fine with scattered light soiling/finger markings, corner creases to first text leaf but no tears, chips or other flaws - colors bright. Bound in moderately worn hardcover of yellow cloth with black titles stamped to front and spine and a line figure of a clown on front. The cover is bright with light soiling around edges and a few scattered light spottings. Edges rubbed, cloth worn with some fraying at spine ends and corners. Binding intact, hinges firm - no splits or cracks. Splendid color illustrations throughout by the distinguished artist, Franz Walter Bergmann. 10 x 7-1/4" (oblong). 96 pages. First Edition.
