Clean pages with light tanning and foxing throughout. Tightly bound with faint thumb-marking throughout. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing. Heavy tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Clipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Mild foxing and droplets present. Mild sunning to spine and edges. Visible rubbing and marking all over.

London and New York: Frederick Warne & Co., Ltd, 1948 A near fine copy of third volume in the Wayside and Woodland Blossoms Series with the original dustwrapper. With numerous colour and black and white illustrations. The wrapper has a reinforced strip at the top and bottom which matches the cloth binding on the book - suggesting that it was probably sold this way as a field guide. There is no fraying but there is some scuffing to the spine and board edges and a very small hole. It is in a removable protective wrap. The binding is in near fine condition with only very slight pulling at the spine. Contents in near fine condition. With numerous colour and black and white illustrations. There is a loose slip inside informing the buyer that Mr Jackson (who revised the volume) would be pleased to identify any plant specimens - up to a maximum of 3 at any one time.
