Toronto, Ontario: Toronto, ON: The American News Company Limited / Weird Tales, 1947, 1st Edition ( Canada ), First Printing, 1947. -----------softcover, pulp magazine, a solid Very Good example, some age toning to paper as usually seen in these old pulp magazines, some chipping and short tears, age spotting and soiling to the largely complete spine, corner loss to page 49 but no text lost / corner loss to page 108 with a few words lost ---this issue is the Canadian version of the AMERICAN September 1947 issue, this has the same cover art as the US issue, has a 20ø price which is the same as the US price, has 112 pages vs. the US having 100 pages,---the copyright page states " This magazine was produced in Canada, on Canadian paper, by Canadians." ---copyright also states that this is volume 38 # 4 but that volume and issue number was used on multiple issues ---the MARCH 1946 issue was #4 so tecnically this is likely volume 39 # 7 or volume 40 # 1 but I'm just going to ignore… Read More
