Fifty-six Illustrations and ten maps of various battles. Illustration of The Duke of Wellington on the jacket. Jacket clean and bright, unclipped, no edgewear. The Life of the Duke of Wellington, Arthur Wesley, born in 1769, born into a family which belonged to the ruling caste of Englishmen in Ireland, with a long period of serivce to the king. His defeat of Napoleon at Waterloo, for which he is most well-known, is only one peak in his illustrious life. 548 pages with Bibliography, References and Index. 9.75 x 6.5 inches.
