Signed limited edition. Matching set, both volumes #1276 of 1500. Signed "Dwight D. Eisenhower" on tipped in blank following colophon page. Mandate for Change is copyright dated 1963 and stated Limited Edition, Waging Peace is copyright dated 1965 and stated First Edition.
Both books are in Near Fine condition, with only visible fault some very light foxing beginning on top of page edges near spines of both volumes.
Both slipcase corners lightly bumped/worn. Top of Mandate for Change slipcase has prior price ($50) in marker still visible under block of black marker, and one of the back corner edges was previously taped, tape no longer present, residue yellowed, light cracking of the corner seems to be what prompted the taping.
Gift inscription on front endpaper of both volumes (see photos).
Both volumes in original glassine jackets. Waging Peace jacket has very light spotting, but completely intact. Mandate for Change jacket has some spotting, and has pieces missing from top and bottom of spine, otherwise intact.
