New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1937. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/good. First impression. 8vo. Pp 342 + b&w photofrontis. Green cloth boards stamped in gilt and black on the spine and upper panel. Previous owner's initials neatly in ink on the front free endpaper else a clean, unmarked copy in a tight binding and unclipped dust jacket. The protected dust jacket is chipped at the folds and rubbed at the extremities with a number of closed tears.
