Beige cloth with titles stamped in silver on front board, xi, 276 pp, 30 pen-and-ink drawings, glossary, bibliography, index. There is a small, faint spot near fore-edge of page 16, owner's signature on recto of front free endpaper, a wrinkle (apparently a binding defect) in front paste-down, else fine. DJ has slight rubbing to extremities, light soil near center of rear joint, spine browning; in Brodart archival cover. From the DJ: "Here is the first popular survey of this fascinating new area of natural science, showing how close is our behavior to that of other animals and how much we can discover from them about ourselves." Books are offered subject to prior sale. You may return any book within 14 days for a refund; if it was not as described, we will also refund return shipping costs (but please e-mail us first). You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order. Sales tax is collected by Biblio and remitted directly to your state, where applicable. SHIPPING IN UNITED STATES: Books are priced postpaid, so there are no additional shipping charges for standard shipping. We will ship via Priority Mail for $12.00 per order (Save on multiple-book orders!). This may be reduced if actual postage is less than for a medium flat-rate box.
