London and New York: Swan Sonnenschein and Co./ Macmillan and Co, 1892 1892. Swan Sonnenschein and Co./ Macmillan and Co. Adventures of Chunk, Fusky and Snout delightfully illustrated with four full-page and numerous small B/W illustrations in text. GOOD in broken binding. Penciled gift inscription and childish drawing on the first blank page and a penciled owner name and stickered number on the half-title page. Otherwise text is clean and crisp. Cover of dark green cloth over beveled boards with gilt decoration on front and gilt lettering on spine is clean but very worn. Edges and back board very rubbed, lower corners worn to board, cloth along hinges worn and spine ends frayed. Gilt decoration remains attractive. Front hinge is cracked and the rear hinge is broken with cover almost detached. The book is askew in the cover. The text block is holding together, no loose pages. 5-1/4 x 8"; 131 numbered text pages. First Thus. Decorative Cloth. Good +/No Jacket. Illus. by W. Parkinson. 8vo.
