Heilbronn, Germany: Berlag von Eugen Salzer, 1904. This German-language book explores the life and artwork of the famous 19th Century German artist and illustrator, Wilhelm Steinhausen (1846-1924). It includes 119 illustrations, mostly in black and white. The book is in Good condition. It has green cloth covers over a flexible board, with a circular illustration in gilt over ivory, as well as gilt titles on the front panel and gilt spine lettering. The covers have some discoloration and bowing of the flexible boards, as well as rubbing at the spine tips and corners. The book includes decorative endpapers. The hinges are excellent, and the binding is tight and secure. The text pages are clean. The book includes 132 pages and measures 7 by 10 inches. . Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Wilhelm Steinhausen. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
