Size octavo, 319 pages. Brown cloth covered boards with paper title label to the spine, outer page edge unevenly trimmed. Condition good, edges of boards fadad a little, spine sunned, paper title label browned, page edges browned, light spots to end-papers, pages are slightly toned otherwise clean. Bookplate of CHW (?) to the front paste-down. Presentation copy to CHW from Hugh I'Anson Fausset, inscribed on the front end-paper; "C.H.W. from H. I'A. F. Xmas 1928." From the collection of Jonathan Gili (1943-2004), film-maker, director and collector of many things including books.
