BI3 - A tight, clean, sound copy in navy cloth with gold lettering on the spine and gold lettering and a graphic on the front and monochrome illustrated green front and back endpapers with very minor overall shelf wear plus there are the usual library marks, labels, and stamps on the front board surface, the top, bottom, and right outside paper edges (marked out with large green marker), and first page of the foreward plus there are large patches of glue staining on the back free and fixed endpapers from a library label and a pocket. A brief bio-bibliographical book on William Davison as a liberal, pharmacist, and printer in 19th century Alnwick, England. Davison was noted for his ornamental printing. This book is illustrated with black and white reproductions and photographs including one 2 page double-sided fold out example. References, 40p.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
