Written with the cooperation of Willie Mays, this biography reveals much of the man behind the player. Rising up from poverty in Alabama to the Negro Leagues to the National League NY Giants, the SF Giants and finally to the Mets in NY at the end of his career. He was one of the best all-round players in the game and certainly one of the most enthusiastic players ever. A clean very presentable copy.
