London: Ward, Lock & Co. Book. Illus. by Margaret Tarrant. Good. Hardcover. Reprint. 12mo (12 x 15.5cm). No date (c. 1930s) but glazed boards suggest a later reprint and slightly larger format than first edition; this edition with 24 colour plates by Margaret Tarrant. Original boards with some general wear and rubbing, backstrip missing but spine carefully reglued (with conservation grade PVA) and remains strong and tight. Contents good, original patterned end papers, front end paper with a few pencil marks and some scribbling in red to the blank side of the first plate otherwise contents clean; all 24 plates present and in good condition, paper to front internal hinge cracked but hinge remains strong. A good only copy. Part of the Little Wonder Book Series.
