Cloth slightly marked; front free endpaper rubbed (where a pencilled signature has been erased); a few minor signs of use and age; an excellent copy with the excellent dustwrapper slightly rubbed. The outcome of Mountford's '1960 journey into the north-west of central Australia, which included 300 miles of difficult and totally untravelled territory ... the only complete record in Australian literature of an entire aboriginal myth' (dustwrapper blurb).
