Beige covers with brown lettering and illustration in brown, yellow and blue. Spine is rubbed, light wear to corners and spine-ends. Sound binding, clean pages, pasted illustration facing introduction, black and white tissue-protected frontis and black and white plates and include The Waystone at Waystone Moor Edge; Fernlee; Alderman in stormy weather; and Dobcross. Short obituary press cutting pasted on front end-paper. Contains a collection of pieces in prose and poetry, some in in dialect. Stamps for Halifax Antiquarian Society and "Withdrawn" stamp on front end-papers and prelims. Pages of main text and plates (including reverse of plates) are free from stamps.
