Wind on the Heath by Phyllis Downe - 1946

In March 1939 the author sets off from Australia to England returning in August 1940. The book is based on letters written by the author back to Australia about her trip and impressions. 320 pages with 18 pages of black and white photographs and endpapers map. Book in good condition with previous owners name on title page, some foxing to edges, two small ink spots to edge of around 25 pages, tanning, binding split at title page but held by a third and small booksellers sticker bottom inside cover. Cover has knocks to corners and shows wear (see photos).
