Straight, tight and clean former library copy, free front endpaper removed, stamps to front and rear pages and text block edge, none affecting text, red dot to top of text block edge, author's name underlined on title page. Dustjacket, slight edge nicks, light age-toning to spine, no library markings, in new Brodart sleeve. A general text dealing with two main aspects of the problem; the quasi-static effect of wind on stiff buildings, and the dynamic effect of wind on slender structures. Profusely illustrated throughout with 30 tables and 116 illustrations in the form of drawn figures, graphs, maps, and equations.
