About This Item
(Windhoek: John Meinert, 1972). Signed greetings card from the author/photographer loosely inserted. 208 x 145 mm; saddle-stitched pictorial wrappers; unpaginated (but pp. 48). Captioned photographs in monochrome, with brief introductory text in English, German and Afrikaans. Very good condition. "The Windhoek Scene is constantly changing, and some of its older landmarks may soon lose their identity or even disappear altogether. This collection of photographs attempts a display of new as well as older features, parts of which are occasionally more interesting than the whole." .
