Octavo (21cm.); original tan cloth, upper cover and spine lettered in navy blue, blue topstain; dustjacket; 348pp.; frontispiece, text illus. throughout. Light soil to text block edges, else a tight, Near Fine copy. Uncommon dustwrapper fairly well-preserved, but has with-paper reinforcements to verso, light soil, some bleed-through from paste on spine panel. Memoirs of the nursing activist, suffragist, advocate for racial integration, and founder of the Henry Street Settlement Lillian D. Wald.
